He Is the Potter is an ongoing series of paintings inspired by stories from Scripture. Each work is filled with symbolism and visual reminders of God’s truth, using vibrant color and layered texture to bring familiar stories to life.

Each painting features imagery on pottery, inspired in part by the ancient Greek tradition of using vessels to tell stories of important battles, gods, and legends. In this series, the pottery becomes a place to remember something far greater: God’s Word. His promises are permanent, everlasting, and good.

As I paint each piece, my hope is to slow down and truly remember the Scripture behind it—to notice the details I might otherwise gloss over and to let the story take root in my own heart.

I hope the same happens for the viewer. Through visual storytelling, bold colors, and rich acrylic textures, these paintings are meant to become daily reminders of the stories, truths, and wonderful promises of our Lord.

I may be the painter, but He is the Potter.
