But God Remembered Noah

Inspired by the story of Noah in Genesis 6–9, But God Remembered Noah explores God’s judgment, mercy, and promise of redemption.

The flood and Noah’s ark are depicted on the vase, representing the destruction brought by sin and God’s provision of a way through it. The olive branches symbolize life and hope after the waters recede—a picture of new beginnings and the mercy of God.

The words “But God remembered Noah” are a powerful reminder that even in the midst of judgment and destruction, God does not forget His people. Noah was preserved through the flood, and we, too, are offered salvation from the destruction of sin through Jesus Christ.

Gold painted across the table represents glory and salvation—the radiant hope found in God’s redemptive plan. What began with judgment ends with the promise of redemption for the remnant.

This painting is ultimately a reminder that God remembers us. He sees us in our sin, makes a way for our salvation, and calls us into new life through Christ.
