Birds and lilies
Inspired by Matthew 6:25–34, Birds and Lilies is a reminder of God’s tender provision and care for His children. Jesus points us to the birds of the air and the lilies of the field—neither striving to provide for themselves, yet both fully cared for by their Creator.
The birds and lilies painted on the blue vase represent this promise: God knows what we need, and He provides for us because He cares for us. We are invited to trust Him rather than live consumed by worry.
The oranges symbolize the fruitfulness God produces in us as we grow in Him. Just as a tree bears fruit in its proper season, our lives can become fruitful when we remain rooted in Him.
The checkered background brings this ancient truth into the present, reminding us that Jesus’ words were not only for another time or place. They are a promise we can carry into the ordinary rhythms and worries of our lives today.
